Blake Griffin Will Bring Home The MVP

Everything is on the shoulders of Blake Griffin this upcoming season. Arguably no player in the league will have to carry a bigger load. It will be something similar to what Russell Westbrook had to deal with last season but just not to that extreme.

The Clippers have very good players in DeAndre Jordan and Danilo Gallinari. They also have solid veteran players in Patrick Beverley, Austin Rivers and Lou Williams but make no mistake about it, the entire franchise is on the back of Griffin. Blake is a great player and although he won’t have his running mate in Chris Paul there to set him up he is still more than capable of putting together a great season. ‘

LA will have an opportunity to battle for a top 4 seed in the East while trying to win 50 plus games for a sixth straight season. Many of the other candidates around the league will have players around them that will take away from their own votes such as Kevin Durant and Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook and Paul George and Chris Paul with James Harden. LeBron still suffers from voters fatigue and Giannis Antetokounmpo might not be ready to take that next leap into super stardom just yet. This year could be Blake’s best year, which could result in winning his first NBA MVP.
