San Antonio Spurs

The Move: Trading for a wing

With Kawhi Leonard sidelined again with injury, the San Antonio Spurs need to shore up their wing depth. Even though the team would be theoretically done without Kawhi in the lineup, adding some depth would help nevertheless.

A few on the market include DeMarre Carroll, Alec Burks, Kent Bazemore, Evan Fournier, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. One interesting name to watch is Nic Batum, who would fit right into Gregg Popovich’s system. Though, the Charlotte Hornets have to elect to blow it up ahead of the NBA trade deadline, which is quite unlikely.
