LA Clippers

Record:

20-21 (9th in the West)

The Case:

The Los Angeles Clippers are 1 game out of the 8th seed and a mere 1.5 games out of the 5th seed currently. This is an astounding development, as just a few weeks ago it looked their season was all but over. Doc Rivers has done an underrated job of patching together a roster that has been decimated by injuries.

Lou Williams is averaging 23 points on the year and, somehow, the Clippers continue to find players that they can sign to two-way contracts that can actually help them. It remains to be seen if they can keep this up but just getting to this point has been an accomplishment. With Blake Griffin now back, the Clippers are right back in the middle of this incredibly tight race in the West.
