This was also the first look at the social media star Zion Williamson. Zion was very impressive and with an upcoming draft with RJ Barrett, Bol Bol, and Cam Reddish he has the most potential out of all of them. Zion has a ton of work to do still, but if he puts it all together he could be scary.

First off, he’s way more than a dunker. Zion Williamson is a player that at 6-foot-6, 270 can grab a rebounder and go coast to coast on the other end for a layup. At this point is his career he’s the largest point forward you’ll see as far as girth. Using his tremendous passing skills, uncany speed, and trampoline leaping ability to attack the rim, making plays for his teammates in the open court.

His 270 pounds, is far away from solid muscle. He needs to slim down and work on his body. Hopefully, he will turn it into muscle and maybe even add more explosiveness than he has now if he shreds his body fat.

Williamson’s jumpshot is a well known concern as well. He struggled at the Hoophall Classic from three point range, but I think the natural touch he showed from midrange and at the rim was very impressive. If Zion develops his body and a jumpshot he would put himself in a very good position to generate first overall pick buzz. However, the throne is RJ Barrett’s to lose for now.
