9. New Orlean Pelicans (27-21)

The New Orleans Pelicans may have lost DeMarcus Cousins for the remainder of the season, but the plan has not changed. At least not yet.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pelicans are still expected to pursue wing help in order to help Anthony Davis. The team is not going to trade Cousins ahead of the trade deadline, even though he becomes a free agent after the season. Don’t ask.

The Pelicans likely still have enough to make the playoffs, but it’s a real shame that this team won’t be fully healthy again.
