Raptors Get: Lou Williams

Clippers Get: CJ Miles, 2019 1st Rd Pick, 2020 2nd Rd Pick

Why it works: The Raptors have a special opportunity this season to possibly be the team that unseats the Cavaliers as the Eastern Conference representative in the NBA Finals.

If Toronto really wants to give itself the advantage against LeBron and company, then trading for Lou Williams, who is having a great season, would certainly make them look like the favorites.  Toronto is only a game back of Boston for the top seed in the East and adding Williams would likely lead to them ending up with the top spot.

As for the Clippers, if they decide to blow up their roster and start rebuilding then getting two draft picks as well as a favorable contract in Miles is not a bad package to land for an expiring deal.
