Hassan Whiteside, Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have lost four of their last six games and have the NBA’s worst offense during that span. Despite having a top 5 defense over their last handful of games, it’s pretty clear that this team is in desperate need of a change.

Question is, will that come at the expense of Hassan Whiteside at the NBA trade deadline?

It’s a fair question to ask, considering that he’s their best trade asset at the moment, and that he’s beginning to lose minutes to rookie Bam Adebayo and Kelly Olynyk during crunch time. While there definitely are whispers surrounding Whiteside, I wouldn’t bet on the Heat moving him just yet.

Unless an offer blows them away in the next few days, expect Hassan to play out the season in Miami.

Verdict: Sell
