The Magic trio (Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier, Elfrid Payton, Mario Hezonja)

The Orlando Magic were reported to have a fire sale in the week’s leading up to the NBA trade deadline. Although, we haven’t heard much else since that initial report. Well, other than the interesting nugget that stated Aaron Gordon was being shopped too.

So, if the reports are accurate, the Magic are hoping to move Elfrid Payton, Evan Fournier and Mario Hezonja at the trade deadline, and are open to testing the waters on a potential Gordon move.

If I had to guess, I’d say that the Gordon move is the least likely. The asking price will and should – and rightfully so – be high. On the other hand, moving Fournier might be difficult because of his large contract.

With that said, I’d be highly surprised if Orlando didn’t make any move before the deadline. Something is coming; I just don’t know if it’ll be big or small, or who it will involve.

Verdict: Buy (I think)
