NBA Trade Rumors: Buying or selling big name deals at the deadline

Similarly to DeAndre Jordan, it’s pretty clear that the LA Clippers would be smart to move Lou Williams ahead of the trade deadline.

And while Williams is enjoying a career season in LA, it’s going to be interesting to see what type of return the Clippers will be able to snag from another team. A first-round pick might be enough to get it done, but when this inevitably becomes a bidding war is when this gets interesting.

Williams is the exact player that can be effective in today’s NBA. Teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets would likely be dying to get their hands on a weapon like Williams.

Williams will almost definitely get moved. Who will win the bidding war?
