The San Antonio Spurs will make a small move

We still don’t know when – or if – Kawhi Leonard will return this season. Despite that, the Spurs are sitting in the top 4 in the Western Conference. They’ll likely finish there when the playoffs start, too.

Although, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be active in the hours leading up to the NBA trade deadline. I expect the Spurs to make some sort of move, but not a big one. San Antonio usually doesn’t make the big splash at the trade deadline, but this could be an opportunity for the team to get slightly better, hoping for their leader to return by the time the playoffs begin.

San Antonio will make a small move, one that has a high risk, low reward.
