The NBA trade deadline will be a bust

All in all, with the amount of whispers that will be taking place between now and Thursday, I predict that the NBA trade deadline is going to be a “bust” This is not to say that there won’t be deals going down, it’s just won’t come with the big names that we often associate with an exciting deadline day.

The biggest name that will be moved will likely be DeAndre Jordan. Lou Williams is another name to keep an eye on, although I firmly believe there’s a chance that the Clippers hold onto him.

The biggest reason for my predicted ” bust” is due to the fact that the trade market is currently flooded with sellers, not buyers.

In fairness, we already saw Blake Griffin get traded earlier this trade season so to say that it’s a complete bust is unfair. Although, there’s just something about trade deadline day that means a little more.
