21. Indiana Pacers: Dzanan Musa, SG, Bosnia

Big Board Rank: 21

The Pacers probably didn’t expect to be as good as they are this year, and they need to have a better scorer on their team. Bojan Bogdanovic is Indiana’s second leading scorer and that’s not okay. Keita-Bates Diop is probably the best pure scorer left on the board, but it’s still a little bit of a reach.

With Indiana having most of their roster signed on for next season they probably want to resign Domantas Sabonis, and maybe Thaddeus Young for the right price. They probably look to build their role players in free agency with a few signings as well.

That’s why Indiana goes to stash Dzanan Musa playing for Cedevita of the Adriatic League. Musa is currently signed to a three-year deal, so the Pacers won’t be in a rush to bring him over. Musa is a smooth handling wing that currently is a better scorer than shooter.

Dzanan Musa is becoming more and more of a work in progress. After cooling off this season he’s still averaging over 20 points per 40 minutes but he’s shooting percentages are awful. The 18-year-old should stay in Europe next season.
