26. San Antonio Spurs: Johntay Porter, PF, Missouri

Big Board Rank: 27

As the years go on the San Antonio Spurs are going to need more and more out of each draft. They haven’t had a quality prospect drafted since Kawhi. In the Spurs offensive schemes, they should be able to take advantage of Johntay’s playmaking ability.
Even though Johntay isn’t a very good athlete he is a tremendous passer, and the Spurs should be able to run a lot of bench unit offense for him through the high post, making reads on dribble handoffs, etc.

Johntay is the younger brother of Michael, and he could end up a long term NBA player in the right situation. His IQ makes up for his athleticism, Johntay doesn’t have the tools to be a great defender, but he’s always in great position to make a play with his High IQ. He’s also by far the best passing big man, and youngest player in the first round.
