2018 NBA Power Rankings: Have the Cleveland Cavaliers figured it out?

4. Boston Celtics (41-16)

Perhaps the long season, and hectic first half schedule, is finally catching up with the young, enthusiastic and other achieving (to a certain extent), Boston Celtics.

After racing off to start the season, the Celtics have fallen a bit back to the rest of the pack in the Eastern Conference. Kyrie Irving is certainly an NBA MVP candidate and Jayson Tatum should win the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award, but this team is still missing their glue – Gordon Hayward.

There’s a strong possibility that we won’t see him this season – and the Celtics should rush him – but it’s almost impossible not to think about how good this team would be with him right now. Shame.
