Darius Bazley, PF, Syracuse

Composite Ranking: 9

Bazley is a combo forward who is skinny, but according to the measurements doesn’t have great length. He’s listed as having a 6-foot-10 wingspan, but he looks a lot longer. He handles the ball extremely well for a 6-foot-9 forward. Isn’t quick, but has long strides going to the hoop. His body needs to fill out because he can’t play through contact right now.

Darius Bazley probably projects as a combo forward with a ton of potential that could become a real NBA prospect with a developing jump shot. However, he’s doesn’t appear to be a one and done he’s got work to do before he can be a serious lottery prospect. Give him time at Syracuse and see how his game develops under Jim Boeheim.
