Reggie Perry, PF, Mississippi State

Composite Ranking: 20

Perry is a 6-foot-9 forward with almost a 7-foot wingspan. He’s probably more of a combo forward and not a real big man. Perry’s biggest value as a prospect stems from his playmaking and handling ability at his size. He’s a really good athlete and shows potential to be able to guard multiple positions.

He doesn’t really do much in terms of off ball effectiveness offensively, and that’s where he might struggle to boost his draft stock immediately at Mississippi State. They already have three ball handlers coming back next year in Lamar Peters and the Weatherspoon brothers.

It will be interesting to see how Perry fits in with those guys, and if his playmaking will still shine. This off ball role could be a blessing as it will force him to become a more consistent catch and shoot threat which would really help the expansion of his game.
