11. Charlotte Hornets: Mikal Bridges SG/SF Villanova

Big Board Rank: 11

The Hornets have enjoyed many years of being mediocre for the past few years. A ton of players a signed on for next year, and it’s easy to see a scenario where they tear it all down soon. Especially with the recent firing of general manager Rich Cho.

So, the Hornets probably just go with best player available and start trying to stockpile talent. Mikal Bridges is currently the best player on my board. The junior wing has enjoyed a breakout season this year at Villanova. He is averaging 17 points while shooting 50 percent from the field and 41 percent from three. Bridges projects as a clear 3 and D player, and still has upside despite his age especially if he learns how to create his own shoot off the dribble at the next level.
