18. Denver Nuggets: Jacob Evans SG Cincinnati

Big Board Rank:17

The Nuggets aren’t dumb by any means. They have a vision of what they want their team to look like, and they’re building around Nikola Jokic. Surrounding Jokic with shooters and players who move well off ball, so that Jokic can use his outstanding passing ability, and have room to operate.

The Nuggets have done a good job getting guys like Gary Harris, Jamal Murray, Trey Lyles, and even Juan Hernangomez (huge fan should get more PT). The problem with all these guys is that none of them really stand out defensively. It really shows since Denver is a below average defensive team. That’s why Jacob Evans is a great fit in Denver he can defend, play off the ball, and knock down an open three.
