24. Atlanta Hawks: Jontay Porter PF Missouri

The Atlanta Hawks make a second appearance in the first round after selecting Luka Doncic. Even at 24 there’s nobody on the Hawks roster that should stop them from going after a player they like. Which is why the Hawks select Jontay Porter even though they already have John Collins as a 4 man.

At this point in the draft you’re really just trying to find rotation players and that’s exactly what Jontay Porter should be. He’s a refreshing change of pace from Collins at the 4 spot as well. Collins is a superb athlete and is more of a transition and pick and roll rim runner, finisher, and lob catcher. While Jontay Porter can bring a lot of different skills to your team offensively like stretching the floor, playmaking, and maybe even putting the ball on the floor attacking a closeout.
