31. Atlanta Hawks: Brandon McCoy C UNLV
Big Board Rank: 31
The Hawks look to pick up a true center after drafting none in their first 3 selections. McCoy is currently averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds at UNLV and is a legit 7 footer.
32. Phoenix Suns: Aaron Holiday PG UCLA
Big Board Rank: 38
The Suns need point guard depth especially if they don’t resign Elfrid Payton. I think they will, but the position needs to get deeper anyways. Holiday is rising and will most likely be rated higher on my next big board. He’s the brother of Jrue (Pelicans) and Justin (Bulls)
33. Sacramento Kings: Chimeize Metu C/PF USC
Big Board Rank: 40
The Kings will most likely use Michael Porter Jr. on the wing, but they could run him at the four if they wanted to create matchup problems. With Porter at the 4 you need a true big and Chimeize Metu is the best big man on my board. He’s more of a faceup big than a true throwback. He’s a quick for his size and has an improving 3 point shot.
34. Dallas Mavericks: Kevin Knox PF/SF
Big Board Rank: 30
If you can’t tell by the latest big board, I’m not very high on Kevin Knox. I’m not sure if I buy into his jumpshot yet. If you don’t buy into his jumpshot than what kind of player is he? Whatever team picks him will feel differently, and a combination of Marvin Bagley at the 5 and Knox as a stretch four could be horrible defensively, but awesome offensively.
35. Orlando Magic: Trevon Duval PG Duke
Big Board Rank: 34
The Magic swing for the fences here since they took Jaren Jackson in the first round. DJ Augustin might have to start at point guard if they don’t find a free agent. However, Trevon Duval has tremendous upside if he learns how to defend and shoot. He could be the Magic’s future point guard.
