5. Dallas Mavericks

Biggest Need: PF

Dream Selection: Marvin Bagley, F 

With Dirk Nowitzki set to retire any minute now, the Dallas Mavericks should be actively looking for his replacement. It’s not in a bad way, it’s just the natural progression – the same way the San Antonio Spurs did it when Tim Duncan retired, with LaMarcus Aldridge.

But there might not be a better replacement out there than Marvin Bagley, who in this scenario falls to the Mavs here at No. 5.

Bagley would help the Mavs from day 1 on offense. Even though he has some things to work out on the defensive end, Bagley is a great talent with great potential.
