1. Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets

This is it folks – the one we’ve been waiting for all season. The two best teams in the league, fighting it out for the NBA championship.

Well, actually, not quite for the NBA championship. This is where the conference system can be a frustrating one.

The consensus among fans is that the Warriors and Rockets WILL face off in the conference finals, and that whoever prevails WILL win the NBA championship. And while Golden State are stumbling at the moment with so many injuries, they should be back to full strength if they make it to that stage.

All of the season’s narratives lead to this series. The Warriors were meant to be unbeatable, the greatest lineup ever assembled and the inevitable champions. The Rockets have emerged as not only a threat, but as the regular season frontrunner with the best record in the league.

It’s Curry and co’s biggest challenge yet. It’s Harden and Paul’s chance for redemption after too many playoff misfires to count. It’s two of the best offensive teams in NBA history going head-to-head for a shot at the title.
