2017-18 NBA award predictions: Celtics clean up; James Harden gets MVP
By Ben Stern
Sixth Man of the Year
Winner: Lou Williams, LA Clippers
While Lou Williams has started a bunch of games this season, he does still technically qualify
for the award, and man does he deserve it.
Lou Will has put together a legitimate all star level season, setting career highs in both points (22.8) and assist (5.4). Williams was snubbed from the all-star game, and won’t be snubbed from this award.
The Sixth man award traditionally goes to a scoring guard (Eric Gordon, JR, J Crawford), and Lou Williams fits the mold perfectly.
Runner Up: Eric Gordon
