Which Miami Heat player will Joel Embiid call out on Twitter first?

Trey Flynn, Contributor: Oh, this is a fun one. I think the obvious answer is Hassan Whiteside, but I’m going to choose a separate player based on past altercations with other teams.

Goran Dragic has been known to spark up some controversies with other players around the league. I think we are due for 1 or 2 fights in this series, for better or worse, so expect Dragic to be fiery and for Joel to continue his twitter fingers escapade.

Jay Patel, Contributor: It has to be Mr. Hassan Whiteside. While they remain friends off the court, Whiteside is exactly the type of player that Embiid goes after – he’s thin skinned and easy to frustrate. While I don’€™t expect anything like the earlier location Instagram jab that Embiid threw out, I do expect Embiid to frustrate Whiteside into silly fouls and limit his impact and then take to twitter to let the world know.

More from Sir Charles In Charge

Embiid is going to play up the Batman moniker with his facemask and when he gets the best of Whiteside, he will refer to him as Bane and create a short video to rub salt on the wounds.

Brandon Osborne, Contributor: It’€™s got to be Whiteside. I imagine something will happen in Game 1, either. Whiteside plays well and says something about Embiid or Whiteside struggles and Embiid mentions how he could shutdown Whiteside.

David Early, Contributor: Gotta be a trick question like the: a bat and a ball cost $1.10. The bat costs one dollar more than the ball. How much does the ball cost? You want to say 10 cents sooooo much it hurts. But I’m not gonna do it. I’m not gonna say Hassan. It’€™s Kelly Olynyk!

If I broke my skull and my eye kind of caved in woul€™d be sneakily terrified to play against Olynyk. This guy who once dislocated Kevin Love’s arm going for a loose ball and some other gruesome goon fouls. This one may have cost LeBron a championship in 2015 and it was garbage time. Horrific. If things get chippy, Kelly has a bit of crazy in him and Joel might get annoyed enough to let him know on Instagram. Especially if he blocks or dunks on him while wearing an executioner’s mask.

Mason McFee, Contributor: While the easy choice would be Hassan Whiteside due to their Twitter beef early on in the season, I have to go with James Johnson. While he only has one technical to his name on the season, he has shown throughout his career he will not back down from anyone; and that will include Joel Embiid. Let’s just hope the worst injury Embiid suffers this postseason is hurt feelings.
