OAKLAND, CA – FEBRUARY 06: Steven Adams

O/U: Game 2, when Rudy Gobert and Steven Adams get into it?

Doole: I’ll take the over on this one. Gobert should realise by now how important he is to his team, and he learned last year how hard it is to sit out in the playoffs. He won’t do anything silly to jeopardise his place in the postseason, even for one game. Adams might get some jabs in while no-one is looking, but that should be as far as it goes.

Allen: I think by Game 1 these two will get into it. They’re both physical players, and they will definitely be battling with one another all series long in the paint. It will be an absolute dogfight between Gobert and Adams, two of the NBA’s biggest players.

Nelson: Boy. Well, it’s going to happen more than once, for sure. Under.

Hope: Over. Rudy Gobert and Steven Adams will most likely get into it in either game 3 or 4. Assuming this to be one of the most competitive series of the playoffs, Utah could definitely take one of the first two games that will be in Oklahoma City. Depending on where the Thunder are come games 3 or 4, these could be the most important games that decide the series.

The high-intensity games are sure to bring out the most emotion in the two teams and any type of scuffle will likely happen then. Both big men have respect for one another but on the court is a different story, and the battle of the boards will be a physical one all series long.

Knitzer: Under. They both get technicals in the first half of game 1.
