9. New York Knicks – Trae Young, PG, Oklahoma

The New York Knicks might’ve missed out on drafting Dennis Smith Jr. in last year’s NBA Draft, but they won’t make the same mistake this season. With the 9th pick, I believe the Knicks will search for a backcourt player to stick next to Kristaps Prozingis.

And with how the board fell in this mock, that player is Trae Young.

At times, Young single-handily carried his team to victories this past season. He has all the traits to be a great leader and would have an impact from day 1.
