9. Trae Young, G, Oklahoma

At one point during the college season, Trae Young was being compared to Stephen Curry. And who could blame the comparisons? He was hitting insane 3-pointers and putting his Sooners on his back.

That apparently wore off, though. And over the past few weeks, the hype around Young has fizzled out. Maybe it could be his size; he’s only 6-foot-2 and could get beat up at the next level.

Maybe it’s the fact that he barely shot over 40 percent from the field – in college. Maybe it’s just that we haven’t seen – or heard from him – in a very long time. Either way, Young going in the top 5 never really made much sense. Young in the 7-10 range does.
