2018 NBA Draft Prospect Rankings: Mo Bamba rises, Luka Doncic falling?

Deandre Ayton is viewed as the “safest” pick at the top. He’s big, strong and athletic – he’s everything you want in a draft prospect. The big question is whether or not he’ll be able to fit in today’s game.

But, you get the athletic and high ceiling first and then worry about the rest later. During his lone season with the Wildcats, Ayton averaged 20 points and nearly 12 boards per game. He also shot 34 percent from the 3-point line, but only shot one per game. Not sure how much stock you can put into that.

Ayton has all the looks of a real impactful next-level player. If not the No. 1 overall pick, he will be the second.
