Who’s Mans? 5 best J.R. Smith moments both on-and-off the court

2. Showing too much love, maybe?

In November of 2016, a few months after the Cavs had come back from 3-1 in the NBA Finals, they were playing the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin. In a game that they eventually lost 118-101, J.R. took a little break in the second quarter to show love and give veteran Jason Terry a quick hug.

All love, kind of nice to see honestly. The only thing was, the game was in full swing and J.R. gave up a wide open Tony Snell dunk. His explanation for this gaffe? Smith said after the game:

"“I wasn’t even paying attention, I don’t even remember that.”"

That’s usually what I say to my girlfriend when I say one of her friends are cute, not when I’m playing in an NBA game. Be better, J.R.
