2018 NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Mo Bamba crashes the top 3; Trae Young falls

1. Phoenix Suns – DeAndre Ayton, C, Arizona

For the time being, DeAndre Ayton continues to sit atop our 2018 NBA Draft mocks. He’s ready to contribute from day 1 and has all the physical and natural abilities to be a really good player at the next level.

Even in a league that is quickly transitioning away from the big man, Ayton should be able to thrive in the new NBA. He’s big, strong and can score in the post while showing the ability to shoot from the mid-range and outside a bit.

Ayton will likely be the top pick in this month’s NBA Draft, but if he isn’t he’s almost certain to go in the top 2.
