2018 NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Mo Bamba crashes the top 3; Trae Young falls

3. Atlanta Hawks – Luka Doncic, G/F, Slovenia

With the way the first two picks unfold, this would be an ideal scenario for the Atlanta Hawks. In a sense, they would get arguably the best flat-out basketball prospect from this group and a guy that could be the new face of their franchise.

Even with all the risks that come with drafting Doncic in the top 3, he’s more than worth it. He can create, shoot and even work off-ball.

For a team that has a ton of holes to fill like the Hawks, Doncic would be one of the best possible picks in the draft.
