Brooklyn Nets

Biggest Priority: Transition from watchers to players in free agency

This is a bit easier said than done, but the Brooklyn Nets have been vigilant watchers during NBA Free Agency for the past few seasons. They’ve taken on some bad contracts in order to get first-round picks, but that needs to begin to change.

Instead for being known as just the team that will take a bad contract for a late first-round pick, the Nets need to begin to find their own identity.

They need to become players in free agency. While that doesn’t happen overnight, even just getting a sit-down with one of the marquee free agents will begin this process.
