17. Milwaukee Bucks – Zhaire Smith, G, Texas Tech

Over the next few years, because they simply can’t pay everyone, could end up losing multiple contributors. Khris Middleton, Jabari Parker and Eric Bledsoe could be three of those players. Adding some insurance to at least one of those positions is vital for this team at the NBA Draft.

That’s where Zhaire Smith could come into play. He doesn’t have a huge sample size under his belt or on tape for NBA teams, but during his lone season at Texas Tech he did show flashes of brilliance. He’s athletic and has shown the ability to hit the 3 on a consistent basis.

That’s exactly what NBA teams are looking for to fill out their backcourt depth.
