2018 NBA Mock Draft 7.0: LA Clippers trade up, Bulls get a steal at No. 7

3. Atlanta Hawks – Jaren Jackson Jr., C, Michigan State

Don’t be surprised if the Atlanta Hawks take a hard look at Trae Young at No. 3, but in the end I believe they’re going to take the big that has been rising up NBA Draft boards at a fast rate. The Hawks don’t necessarily need another big, but at this point in their rebuild they should be taking the best player available.

That just happens to be Jaren Jackson at this point, who has one of the highest ceilings in the draft pool.

With a number of team reportedly eyeing the possibility of drafting Jackson, don’t be surprised if the Hawks end up trading this pick or at least shopping in over the next couple of days.
