San Antonio nearly trades Kawhi Leonard

Pressure is mounting for the San Antonio Spurs. Kawhi Leonard doesn’t want to be in San Antonio, and the entire NBA knows that – which has, at the very least, hurt his trade value on the block. Which is going to make trading Kawhi all the more difficult.

However, I predict that we’re going to get some report or rumor that states the Spurs were on the verge of trading him on draft night. We always hear these types of stories, and I believe it’s going to revolve around one of the teams that are selecting in the top 10.

Kawhi is almost going to get dealt somewhere, in an attempt to find a bar for his trade value which doesn’t really have one. I don’t believe he’s going to be traded this quickly; San Antonio is going to set a bar first. And I believe that’s exactly what’s going to happen when they *almost* trade Kawhi Leonard on NBA Draft night.
