Carmelo Anthony gets bought out; joins LeBron…finally

Over the course of his career, Carmelo Anthony has had a few opportunities to play with is friend LeBron James. But in almost every situation, Melo, instead of making what many would consider the smart move, makes the financial move.

And it’s hard to blame him. After all, each of us would probably take all and as much money as we could get. But Carmelo Anthony simply doesn’t fit with the Oklahoma City Thunder. We’ve learned that over the course of this past season. Especially if Paul George returns – and I believe he will – the Thunder will probably try to buyout Melo.

If the two sides come to an agreement, I think that, once free, Melo will finally make the smart decision and play alongside LeBron as he makes one final attempt at winning his first NBA Championship.
