2018 NBA Power Rankings: The Warriors win the offseason; Lakers are back

19. Detroit Pistons

I honestly don’t have much of an idea of what to expect from the Detroit Pistons this season. They could be in contention for the playoffs, or they could flop altogether. Either way, it’s going to be an interesting storyline to follow.

My gut tells me that they’re going to be competing for one of the final playoff spots in the East, though. They have too much talent not to. Assuming health, the duo of Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond in the frontcourt is going to be quite fascinating.

The big question for this team falls on Reggie Jackson and his ability to remain healthy, and effective when he’s on the basketball court.
