30. Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks may have added Jeremy Lin, Vince Carter and Alex Len during NBA free agency this summer, but this team still isn’t on par with many of their counterparts talent-wise. Drafting Trae Young will certainly help, as he showed great potential during his freshman season at Oklahoma.

Young is a sharpshooter who is an underrated playmaker. He will have the platform to do big things during his rookie season with the Hawks but will have some big shoes to fill as the team’s new face of the franchise.

The good news is that he will have help. John Collins had an impressive rookie season a year ago, and will be asked to replicate some of that same success next to Young. The Hawks may be on the right track, but they still have a ways to go.
