2018 NBA Power Rankings: The Warriors win the offseason; Lakers are back

1. Golden State Warriors

No surprise here as the two-time defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors take the top spot just weeks away from NBA training camps open for the 2018-19 season. And as if they couldn’t get any better this offseason, the Warriors added DeMarcus Cousins during free agency.

Boogie probably won’t be healthy until the second half of the NBA season, but it shouldn’t matter with the core of this team returning for a third-straight season.

Even if Boogie is just 70 percent of his former self, he is going to make this team better. The Warriors are going to once again dominate the NBA this season, and the rest of the league is still playing for second place.
