28. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic actually did quite well during the 2018 NBA offseason. They managed to re-sign their biggest free agent to hit the open market, giving Aaron Gordon the big money payday that he was looking for as a restricted free agent.

They also drafted Mo Bamba, who has a tremendous ceiling with 6th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Nikola Vucevic is set to be back this season, after battling injuries all of last season, and Jonathan Isaac has tremendous potential heading into year 2 of his NBA career.

I don’t expect the Magic to make a huge jump heading into 2018-19, but they will be improved. They certainly proved that with their moves this offseason. Orlando is long and will be good on the defensive end.

Question is, can they improve enough on the other end in order to be as competitive as they’d like?
