2. Kristaps Porzingis, New York Knicks

Age: 23

Stats: 22.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 40% 3PT

Kristaps Porzingis’ third season was cut short due to a knee injury, but there’s no question that he’s the second best player in the NBA under the age of 23. When he’s healthy, he does things that no player 7-foot-3 should have the capability of doing.

He can shoot from deep, pound the boards and attack the rack with vengeance. The New York Knicks have a great piece in Kristaps and should play it safe when it comes to him returning to the floor this season.

I’m not sure how much we’re going to see of Porzingis in 2018-19, but the goal for him to take a next step shouldn’t be for this year. It should be for the 2019-20 season, and that’s OK.
