8. Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic

Age: 22

Stats: 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 34% 3PT

Aaron Gordon is an interesting player. He’s improved every season of his career, and had his best one to date just before he hit the restricted free agency market. He’s big, fast and athletic – everything you want in today’s big man. He’s even extended his jumper to the 3-point line.

Gordon has all the tools that you look for in a young player, and is still getting better. He might not be the most flashiest name on this list, but he’s one of the most quality – and versatile – ones. The Magic did right by signing him to a long-term deal, even though it cost them.

We still don’t know how good Gordon can be, but the talent is clearly there. And the fact that he’s been able to continue to develop despite all the dysfunction inside the Orlando Magic organization should speak volumes to him as a player.
