Josh Richardson, Miami Heat

2017-18 Stats: 12.9 points, 3.5 rebounds

Since he’s been in the news lately, I thought it was smart to list him on this article. But also, because I believe he’s going to make a jump this season. I don’t think he’ll every be a superstar in the NBA, but believe he can play at a star level (on the Miami Heat team).

The Heat need someone to step up and be a star. Josh Richardson can be that player this season. I believe he can make a jump where he’s averaging close to 18 points per game, on a good shooting percentage.

The big question is whether or not Erik Spoelstra is going to give him the minutes to be that productive. Miami is in this weird spot where they have a ton of players that are getting minutes that they shouldn’t be, and the only reason why they are is because of their contracts.

Josh Richardson should be the focus of the offense if he stays on the Heat. If so, then he’ll be able to maximize his potential. If not, who knows what his fourth season will look like.
