Portland Trail Blazers

Seth Curry

You might be laughing with this nominee, but before he missed an entire season due to injury Seth Curry was doing great things for the Dallas Mavericks. The biggest reason why they elected to move on from Curry is because they drafted Dennis Smith Jr.

But the Mavericks’ loss is the Portland Trail Blazers‘ gain. During the 2016-17 season, Curry averaged 13 points on 43 percent shooting from 3-point range. While the Blazers won’t need for Curry to be any savior, I believe he’s going to thrive as the leader of the second unit.
