The Warriors’ dynasty is on its last legs

This has been a hot topic as of late, but I thought Kevin Durant was going to leave after last season. But, after much thought, I’ve decided to pivot to that prediction for this summer. Much like LeBron James’ move to Miami, Durant in Golden State was never about the long-run.

It was always just a springboard to him building something, possibly on his own, somewhere else. Perhaps a move that would cement his legacy in the grand scope of his career – something that LeBron successfully did (after his stint with the Heat) by winning an NBA Championship for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Enjoy this season, Golden State fans. This could be the end of a great run with this current core. And that could be echoed for Klay Thompson, who is a free agent after this season too.
