Will Thibs move Jimmy B?
Through the first week of the NBA season, I don’t think we’re any closer to seeing Jimmy Butler traded. The Minnesota Timberwolves are 2-2 on the season, and have looked good with Jimmy on the floor, especially considering everything this team went through in training camp.
Jimmy gives this team the best chance to win and be good this season, and I’m not sure Tom Thibodeau is willing to punt on this season this early. There has been no traction over the last week, and we haven’t even heard much about it frankly.

Don’t be surprised to see this storyline to extend into the middle of the season. As long as this distraction continues to fade into the background, the more likely it is for Thibs to try to sweep this issue under the rug. But there’s no question that this is one big confusing situation.
