6. Blake Griffin, Detroit Pistons

Stats: 28 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists

The Detroit Pistons have gotten off to a red-hot 4-1 start to the season, and a big reason why is Blake Griffin who is absolutely on a mission. Perhaps what has been most impressive when it comes to Griffin has been his proficiency from the 3-point line.

Through the first two weeks of the season, Griffin is shooting a scorching 56 percent from 3-point range on more than five attempts per contest. Even though that likely won’t hold up, it’s quite impressive to see Griffin more and more comfortable from the outside.

Barring their game against the Boston Celtics, the Pistons have looked really improved this season and appear they’re going to be a factor in who comes out of the Eastern Conference this season. If Griffin can hold this level of play up, the Pistons will be in good hands and a lock to make a return to the playoffs.
