17. Charlotte Hornets (5-5)

Last week: 20 

I was reluctant about the Charlotte Hornets‘ start, and still am to a certain extent. However, one thing that you can’t argue is that when Kemba Walker is playing at his potential and on top of his game, this team is tough to stop.

And, for the most part this season, that’s been the case more often than not. So far, it’s been enough for this team to be .500 and in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. And I don’t really believe that’s going to change much this season.

I think it’s time we look at the Hornets and see a serious playoff threat in the East. And that could spell bad news for some of the teams that believed they could sneak it this season.
