8. San Antonio Spurs (6-3)

The San Antoni Spurs with each passing game are looking more and more like they’ve looked over the last few seasons – like a competent Western Conference team that will likely make the playoffs, but won’t make much noise.

And that’s perfectly fine. It’s the place where we’ve arrived in the NBA as we enter year three of the Warriors era. The Spurs continue to work and will likely finish as a top 6 team in the conference.

Don’t be surprised if they figure out a way to clinch home-court in the first round, but this team is more made for the regular season than the playoffs.
