The New York Knicks have looked better every day and week that they’ve played. Perhaps that’s credit to Dave Fizdale whose hiring is already paying dividends for this team. While their young guys have flashed potential, it’s one of their veterans that has been vital to this team’s success.

Tim Hardaway Jr. is on pace to have his best season to date. For a player that was once considered to have one of the worst contracts in the NBA, that’s a huge change in developments. He may not be a popular choice to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player of the Year award, he could be in the conversation.

Behind THJ, the Knicks will always be a tough out. They might not win many games, but they’re going to be in a lot of them. And with Kristaps Porzingis out, there’s really not much more you can ask for.
